I wrote this poem about the battle between light and darkness that happens inside of us, I’ve added a video below as well.
There’s a war raging on earth
Built inside each of us at birth
The darkness versus the light
The day engulfing the night
Our faith and love stride
Acting as a divine guide
Hostile forces pull us down
To destroy and burn the crown
But we will survive the fight
Ready to conquer the spite
With passion and integrity
The road ahead brings clarity
To endure together is the win
Against the constant battle of sin
We are one, stay grounded
